The Divine Mercy Chaplet was revealed by Jesus to Saint Faustina Kowalska as a powerful prayer for obtaining mercy for ourselves and for the whole world. It is especially recommended at the Hour of Mercy (3:00 PM) and may be prayed using ordinary Rosary beads.
Through this chaplet, we offer to God the Father the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of His dearly beloved Son, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
The Divine Mercy Novena was given by Our Lord Jesus Christ to Saint Faustina Kowalska. Jesus asked that this novena be prayed beginning on Good Friday and ending on the Saturday before Divine Mercy Sunday.
